The Daily Review

End the day with a brief reflection on what worked, what did not, and what you will do differently next time.

Borrowed from the Daily Examen, a daily reflection practice from Ignatian (Jesuit) spirituality. Read the original source.

Ongoing habit · Minutes to start · Anyone on the team can start it

Try this first

Three minutes, three questions. What went well, where did I fall short, what will I change.

Use it when

Individuals or teams run without reflection and recovery is neglected.

Skip it when

This is personal practice. Do not turn it into a monitoring or reporting requirement, because forcing it or tracking it kills it. And for someone already prone to harsh self-criticism, keep it aimed at learning.
